Abstract

1 Scope and field of application This standard presents requirements concerning wooden pine poles intended for overhead lines (electricity, telecommunications and lighting poles) in Finland. However, this standard does not apply to safety poles with intentionally impaired strength, intended to be used on roadsides; the Finnish Road Administration has provided instructions for these. This standard is congruent with the requirements in standard EN 142291).
